Opportunities with Together for Good
Living Hope partners with Together for Good to serve families in need in our community. We have two opportunities to give and serve during the month of December: TFG is doing a Christmas Gift Sharing program for the parents and children they serve. Thanksgiving Potluck
Join us for a potluck lunch in celebration of Thanksgiving! We’ll stay after the service at the Empire Event Center on Sunday November 20th, 2022 and enjoy a meal together. Please bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert. We’ll have an area to plug in crock pots to keep food warm during the service.
Women’s Christmas Tea
Join the women of Living Hope for a special Christmas Tea on Saturday December 3, 2022 at 2:30pm. The event will include desserts, special music, and devotional thoughts about the Christmas season. The tea will be held at True Life Church, 2204 22nd St NW, Rochester, MN 55901. The cost for Living Hope attenders is $5 to cover the cost of building rental. Service Project Saturday
Living Hope will be coming together to serve in our community on October 15th! Meet at Bear Creek Church (1765 Restoration Rd SW, Rochester) at 9:30am on Saturday, October 15th and come prepared for a couple hours of yard work and other projects! We will be heading out into the community to serve people who need help taking care of their yards or houses. Wear pants and bring a pair of work/garden gloves!
Women’s Event September ’22
Join us for a Living Hope women’s event on Saturday, September 24th, 2022 from 8:30am-1pm. The event will be held at True Life Church (2204 22nd St NW, Rochester) and will feature time for fellowship and a message from special guest speaker Cathy Langlois. Cathy will speak about the power and unfailing love of our Heavenly Father. Cost is $15, which includes breakfast and lunch. Men’s Camping Trip ’22
Join the men of Living Hope for an overnight camping trip to Forestville-Mystery Cave State Park. The camping trip will begin at 6:30pm on Friday, October 7th and end at 3pm on Saturday, October 8th. Dinner on Friday and breakfast/lunch on Saturday are included. Cost is $20. Register here!
Labor Day Picnic ’22
Join us on Labor Day (Monday, September 5th) from 4-7pm at Foster-Arends Park for a potluck picnic! Please plan to bring a main dish and a side dish or dessert to share. Paper products and water will be provided. Foster-Arends is located at 4051 E River Rd NE, Rochester, MN 55906.
Summer 2022 Women’s Event
Join us for “Older Women Teach Younger Women,” our summer 2022 Living Hope women’s event. It will be held on Saturday, June 25th from 9am to 1pm at True Life Church (2204 22nd St NW, Rochester, MN 55901). The cost is $5 and includes a light breakfast, scriptural encouragement, bingo, a craft, and lunch. “A Marriage to Die For” – Spring 2022 Marriage Conference
Living Hope’s spring marriage conference, “A Marriage to Die for” will be April 22nd-23rd at the Empire Event Center. Our guest speaker for this event is Bill Young from Salt Lake City, and the cost is $40 per couple (Late registration price of $45 after April 8th).
