Not a wish, not a slogan—but a hope that is more real and alive than the pain and meaninglessness of this world. The good news is that God offers this kind of hope. A hope great enough to change us, forgive us, and give us new life in Jesus Christ. With this hope we can truly live—without it we merely exist.
Living Hope Church is a church family in Rochester, Minnesota—made up of families and singles—committed to helping people discover and connect to God’s hope.
Our Foundation: New Life in Jesus
The foundation of this hope is finding new life in Jesus. Hope grows as we learn to connect authentically with Him—personally and together. As we do this, God’s grace grows us in love. This is what draws people into relationship with Jesus: hearing God’s Word, responding in faith, and walking with others who are learning to follow Christ.
What We’re About
We gather to worship God, love and encourage one another, and learn from God’s Word in a way that applies to everyday life. We generally teach through a book of the Bible, seeking to embrace and apply its transforming truth to our families, our work, and our community.
Our desire is not just to attend church—but to make disciples: men and women who follow Jesus and help others follow Him. Over time, we hope to multiply teams that can plant more “outposts of hope” wherever God leads.

We’re grateful to welcome families. We provide:
Nursery childcare for kids under 3 years old
Classes with creative Bible lessons for children ages 3 through 5th grade
Groups & Community During the Week
Church life isn’t only weekends. We also meet in smaller groups in homes throughout the week to share the new life God has given us and to grow in prayer, friendship, and Scripture.
