Join us for a Mini-Conference with pastor John Meyer on June 14th, 2026 during and after our 10am Sunday morning service.
During the 10am service, John will speak on "Male and Female as the Amazing Image of God“: In the beginning … male and female He made them” (Genesis 1:27). And so He made each of us also. What does the simple description in Genesis 1 tell us about ourselves? What do we learn about what it means to be human? To be man? To be woman? And what difference does it make to understand that?
Following a short break for lunch, John will share two additional talks:
"How the Love of God Explains the Shape of our World": Are male and female just God’s biology plan to get more people? Or does something about “male” and “female” capture a unique aspect of the image of God – one that has nothing to do with biology? The Bible tells us that “God is love”. How does that love get revealed through the divine image of Man as male and female?
"Men and Women - Why Are They Like That?": Men and women are different. God intended that. And we sense it. But what does the Bible say about what those differences are? And how can we appreciate and find life in the God-made differences that shape us??
