Our culture is all about wanting more and we easily fall into that as well. More time, more money, more stuff. Is Jesus here to give us more? Or does he have something else in mind to give us? Paul has some strong answers to these questions in his letter to Timothy.

The Wrong Stuff – 1 Timothy 4:1-5
Paul’s letter continues with several sharp words for those that are adding to the gospel. He then centers Timothy in the good that God has created. Let’s beware of our own tendencies and keep to the purity of grace and truth while enjoying what God has given us.
The Right Stuff – 1 Timothy 3
Gods view on what men and women need to be is very different from the worlds. Paul relates to Timothy the right stuff to look for.
