Connection Days 2023
Join us for our annual mission trip to our city, August 3-5! This year we will have a focus on making neighborhood connections in the Manor Park area. We will be together on Thursday evening, and all day on Friday and Saturday. The cost will be $35 per person for adults and teens ($10 per child ages 6-12, free for kids 0-5), which includes breakfast/lunch/dinner on Friday and Saturday. Church on the Road – July 16th ’23
Due to a schedule conflict at the Empire Event Center, we will be at the Wood Lake Meeting Center (210 Wood Lake Drive SE, Rochester) on Sunday July 16th for our 10am Sunday morning service. No Childcare or Sunday school provided on this date due to the special location.
July 4th Picnic
Join us for our annual 4th of July Picnic at the Johnsons’ house, starting at 4pm! Bring meat to grill and a side dish to share. Tableware and lemonade/water will be provided.
Brunch in the Park – Women’s Event
Join the women of Living Hope for brunch, fellowship, and discussion at Essex Park starting at 10am on Saturday, June 24th. Bring a brunch dish to share and come spend time connecting with one another! Rain location: The Meyer’s house (5941 Danvers Ln NW).
Park Day
Join us for games at the park! We’ll be at Foster-Arends Park on Sunday June 11th from 2-5pm to hang out and play Volleyball, Corn Hole, and whatever other games people are in the mood to play! Or bring a chair to sit and chat.
Memorial Day Picnic
Join us for food and fellowship at our annual Memorial Day Picnic. We’ll be at Foster-Arends park under the shelter starting at 4pm (usually we eat around 5). Bring a main dish and a side dish to share. Water and tableware is provided.
Bag Lunch Talk – Biblical Manhood
Pack a lunch or grab some take out and join us at noon on May 21st for a Bag Lunch Talk on Biblical Manhood. Come with questions and thoughts for discussion!
Bag Lunch Talk – Biblical Womanhood
Women are bombarded with narratives concerning their identity and value everywhere. Almost all of these run counter to God’s truth. Kathleen Nelson will discuss how to maintain and live out God’s beautiful identity as women in our world today. Both men and women are invited to join us at noon following the service on May 7. Bring a sack lunch, or grab some take-out after the service.
Biblical Parenting Conference
Join us at we turn our attention on how to biblically parent our children. Steve and Kathleen Nelson, authors of Premeditated Parenting, will encourage and equip parents in raising children who have a passion for God and a heart for people.
