Seek – Grow – Multiply
Seek our life in Christ
Jesus came to conquer death that we might have new life (John 10:10). This life can only be found by pursuing our relationship with him (Colossians 3:3). We grow in our relationship with him with the help of the Holy Spirit (John 14:14-16) as we apply faith (Galatians 2:20) in the truth God has revealed. (2 Peter 1:4, Matthew 4:4)
Grow together in love
Jesus’ final prayer was that his followers would be one just as He and the Father were one (John 17:11). He said by this the world would know that we are His disciples (John 13:35). Sacrificial, committed, loving relationships are the mark of mature Christians. We cannot grow to maturity apart from the relationships God gives us in his church (1 Corinthians 12:18-27).
Multiply our lives and church
Jesus’ mission was to bring the Kingdom of God. His death for our sins is what makes it possible for people to enter into that Kingdom and He desires the whole world to be invited (Matthew 28:18-20). His plan is as every believer grows to maturity they would pass on their faith and equip others to carry the message to the world. The local church is his instrument to accomplish this great goal (Ephesians 4:7-16).
