This week we continue our study on the book of Matthew by taking a look at chapter 9.
Jesus has authority over all. What He says happens. This week we take a look at Matthew 8 to see that Jesus brings the authority of the Kingdom and nothing stands in the way of that.
What are your actions saying about your walk with Christ? Are you working hard everyday to put into practice all that Jesus taught? Life is hard. Will you be ready by building your life on Jesus and His truth? This week we look at what Jesus said in Matthew chapter 7 about following the Lord and living out a life that honors Him.
Where does your treasure lie? What are your motives in giving, praying and fasting? Will you let Jesus challenge your thinking? This week we look at the words of Jesus in Matthew 6 to align our perspectives with His.
In our third and final session for the weekend we discuss how we need to live like time is short, recognize we are image bearers of God and fulfill our unique and vital roles in saving our culture yet realize when it is time to withdraw to lonely places and pray.
In our second session for the weekend we look at how we can see past expressed needs and out of love get into the dirt of life and address the real issue by being bold in our speech and marinating our hearts in the Word of God.
In our first session for the weekend we take a look at how the gospel paradigm correctly rotates our concept of love, our priorities, and our beliefs that people don’t want to hear the gospel.
